Scope

Prima Uno provided a team with extensive project controls, risk management and expert project skills in the nuclear industry who are fluent with both the NDA PCPs and project execution at the NDA sites but also bring external best practice from some of the UK’s premier and complex construction projects e.g. Crossrail, London 2012, Terminal 5 Heathrow, Transport for London, EDF Nuclear New Build, Sellafield major and nuclear decommissioning projects.

Capability – High quality staff specifically selected from various areas of the UK see Fig.1, trained to ensure suitably qualified and experienced as part of the managed service their work is peer reviewed.

Prima Uno supported our client in the development of their Management System to demonstrate compliance with and thus seek ISO 9001 accreditation as a precursor to bidding for work across the NDA estate as a Tier 2 contractor. This work required a detailed ‘gap’ analysis of their parent company’s Management System to assess what specific documentation was required to be produced.

We worked in collaboration with the client to highlight where their existing suite of documents needed to be adapted. We undertook reviews and had interactive sessions with the team resulting in a clear specification of new Project Controls documents to be developed.

Prima Uno identified management and functional level procedures together with a definitive project controls application manual that demonstrated both compliance with our clients parent company Policies and Management System and also provided the day to day working instructions to demonstrate full alignment with the project delivery requirements of the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning sector.

Our deliverables gave our clients the benefit of a ISO compliant Project Controls document suite [an integral part of their ISO 9001 Management System] that will give greater assurance of delivering projects, providing the Project Managers, and both our clients and its clients with reliable delivery and reporting processes.
